Not your traditional childbirth preparation! In our sessions together, we will use a combination of education and coaching to help you feel more confident about your labor and birth.

Package includes 4 x 75-minute sessions:

Session 1: Pain and Pain-coping - Even if you’re planning an epidural, you will likely experience some discomfort or pain during some part of the birth process. Whether it’s labor contractions, procedures/exams, or recovering after birth, we’ll build your coping skills together. In this session, learn to:

Expand your coping skills to deal with pain/discomfort
Advocate for support/accommodations when experiencing pain/discomfort.

Session 2: Facing Fears - It is totally normal to have fears about birth! During this session, we will pick one of your fears to work through and make it more manageable to face. In this session, we will:

Provide information and context around this fear
Help shift your perspective relating to this fear
Come up with strategies to create more safety around this fear

Session 3: Preparing for the Unexpected - It is VERY unlikely that your birth will go exactly the way you think it will or want it to. In this session we will:

Identify your strengths and what resources you have to handle whatever comes your way
Plan for “the next best thing,” centering your ultimate values and goals for your labor and birth

Session 4: Becoming a Parent & Connecting with Your Baby - The birth of your baby is also the birth of yourself as a parent. Explore:

What you are leaving behind
Who you are becoming
How your baby is already an active participant in this journey!

*Free Bonus Session* available to clients who have purchased this package: 60 minute call after your baby is born to process your birth experience. Must be used within 8 weeks of giving birth. Birth Story Processing can also be purchased by itself.

Packages are open to individuals or couples (or birthing person and support person). All sessions are virtual over Google Meet and must be used within 6 weeks. Coaching tools in this package draw heavily from the Birthing From Within method and may include interactive techniques, visualization and birth art.

This three month long container is for folks who need support around a particular goal or issue. I particularly love working with people in transition (pun intended!):

• Pregnancy (for those who want to explore topics beyond those covered in the Birth Preparation Package)

• Welcoming a new baby

• Returning to work after a new baby (or after being a stay-at-home parent)

• Thinking about getting pregnant

• Career changes

• Passion projects (this may not seem like a transition per se, but I love working with folks who have been gestating an idea and need help bringing it to life)

During our time together, we will explore the scope of your goal or issue in depth and determine your desired outcomes. Then I will help you create a customized plan for taking actionable, manageable steps towards your desired outcomes to achieve your dreams.

Package is for 12 weeks, during which, we will meet for 9 x 60-minute sessions or 6 x 90-minute sessions. All sessions must be used within 15 weeks of first session and are virtual over Google Meet.

Congratulations on the birth of your new baby! In this 60-75 minute session, you will have the opportunity to share your birth story with someone who gets it. Whether it’s been three months or three years (or more!), I will listen to your full birth story and then together we will explore the highs and lows and what you learned about yourself during the birthing process. This is a great opportunity to process and better understand “what just happened to me?” AND also brag about how awesome you are. For those dealing with significant birth trauma, I recommend therapy services, ideally with someone who has a strong background in perinatal mental health. Postpartum Support International is a great place to find resources.

This service is included for clients who previously purchased a Birth Preparation Package and may be applied toward the purchase of a Three Month Coaching Package if purchased within one month of Birth Story Processing. This session session is virtual over Google Meet.
